Hi All, I appreciate any help you can provide.
I have a Samsung 970 evo plus that is running at half speed, around 1700/1700. Samsung magician and other software are showing it is running at PCIe x 2 instead of 4.
My motherboard is an asus rog strix z490-E which according to the manual suppors M.2 PCIe NVME x4 on both of its M.2 slots:
1 x M.2_1 socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (SATA & PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)
1 x M.2_2 socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)
I currently have it connected to the M.2_1 slot.
I also have another HDD drive connected to Sata 1 for storage as well as a RTX 2060 super. My CPU is an I7-10700k.
Thanks
