Question My M.2 SSD popped out of my socket and is dead.

My SSD from Crucial (1TB) managed to break its way out of the slot in my motherboard. It happened right as I was about to restart my computer, and instead of me restarting, I got blue-screened.

I dug back into my system and screwed it back in, but the damage had already been done. I went to boot up my computer, and it’s now showing No Signal. Any resolutions?

Replace damaged component.
Next time be more careful.

It may be dead M.2 drive, dead motherboard or even dead cpu(if M.2 slot is directly connected to cpu).

Do you still get "no signal" if you start the computer without the SSD plugged in?

Can you show us detailed photos of each side of the SSD? Sometimes there is a protection device which fails. If this is the case, then there is often a zero cost DIY fix.
