My main 3TB HDD showing unallocated space

Solution
Chugalug is correct in that it's apparent your 3 TB had (unfortunately) been MBR-partitioned rather than GPT.

But you're in luck if your OS on that 3 TB HDD contains the Win 10 OS which you have indicated.

Ensure that your Win 10 OS contains the latest update which will be the Windows 10 Creators Update. See...

With this update your OS will contain the "MBR2GPT" program which will allow you to convert your Win 10 boot drive to GPT-partitioning. That, of course, will free up the 746 GB of currently unusable disk-space so that you can utilize the full 2,794 GB of your 3 TB boot drive.

We've used the MBR2GPT tool a number of times and it has worked flawlessly. It's relatively...
Make sure it's running GPT not MBR, and there's likely system reserved partitions on it, as this would be the boot manager.
Getting rid of that would mean you'd need to run a windows recovery software (free) from a USB and make another one on another drive.
Given it's your main boot drive however, you'd need to create a system restore point, back up all your files onto another 3TB drive, make sure you have your windows key, format it and do a fresh install setting it up as GPT.
That's the only way.

Ok well if that's the case then i'll have to do it, but how do i get my activation key? cause i upgraded from windows 8 to windows 10

P.S.
And while you're at it, learn about the MBR & GPT partitioning schemes.
