Question My memory kit won't reach tested speeds

So, here's been my annoying experience.

2015
CPU - i7 6700 with a Z170 ASRock i7 Pro gaming motherboard.
Memory - Team DarkPro Red 2x8GB kit able to reach its tested speeds of 3200 and able to overclock to 3600.

2017
CPU - i7 7700K with a bios update to the same Z170 ASRock i7 Pro gaming motherboard.
Same memory kit but only stable at 3200MHz and only goes up to 3466 now.


2019
Same CPU. Same motherboard.
New memory. GSkill Ripjaws V 16GBx2 with 3600MHz tested speeds. Only goes up to 3466.

2020
CPU - i7 10700K with an ASRock Z490 Extreme4 Bios P1.20
Same memory...... Only goes up to 3100MHz and is no longer detectable by Speccy.

I just wanted a 32GB dual channel memory kit that ran at 3600MHz 16-19-19-39. The hell am I doing?

XMP option only has Auto/Profile 1. I've tried different slots. Single channel. Single stick. Its all the same.

I should probably wait for more stable bios updates and fixes. But I can't even run at rated speeds that the kit sold for. You'd figure a $200 MB and new 10th gen CPU would be fine with that. I'll try any reference settings if any one had the same issue or the same components. I don't want to have to buy a $260 kit that was tested, working and listed on the MB QVL list.

I should probably wait for more stable bios updates and fixes.
