[SOLVED] my memory overclocking

So I own MSI a88xm-e35 motherboard and I've come to the point when I want to OverClock my components and I got stuck on overclocking my ram because I cannot access advanced memory configuration(i just cannot click on it) so I thought that it might be the problem of my bios version and so I wanted to update it but when I downloaded newest(5years old) bios I just couldn't run it. It said my pc is not compatible or something like that pls help guys I would like to do some stuff with ram latencies.

What is your full system spec including PSU make and model?

Did you get BIOS from here? https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/A88XM-E35
Are you sure it is that EXACT model? If it isn't, when updating BIOS it will say it is not compatible.

I don't know how it works on FM2 but generally you have to put the BIOS-file (.u60) on a USB stick. Boot into BIOS and launch BIOSflash from there and choose the file on USB.
