Dear User,

Hey, yesterday I got my NEW PC with an i7-9700K, RTX 2060, and 32GB of RAM! Everything on the PC is fine, until a plug in my headset to hear my game audio. At the start, I couldn't hear anything and everything was so fizzled. Until I changed the input and output to the headset.

I thought this fixed everything, but it didn't. I can now hear people in discord, fortnite, and the game itself. But they can't hear me when I speak. And in discord, it says no mic detected, whens its plugged in, i can hear them, and eveyrthing is fine! I have a turtle beach headset.

Hey there,

Sounds like a driver issue to me. Can you test the microphone through Windows?

Right click your sound icon in taskbar>Open Sound setting>Test Microphone.

This will tell you if the mic is working. If there's no joy there, then maybe the headset is faulty.

Try update your sound drivers with the latest version then test again.

Okay. I went into Sound Manager and hit some settings. This has now separated my speakers and my headset, and now I have a audio called headphones. It comes clearly out my headphones now, but I cant speak. And there's no driver updates.
