My mic keeps turning itself down when I open a up a game

Recent my mic would turn itself down so no one can hear me when I launch a game, specifically CS:GO and it will also turns itself down whenever I join a lobby in the Rainbow Six: Siege beta. This is getting incredibly annoying since I have to keep alt tabbing out, go to mic properties and turn it up again. I've searched the internet and nothing is helping. I've tried to put it on automatic adjust and it still doesn't work.

Have you got skype? Theres an option in it to "automatically adjust" the microphone levels. It's a pain

Yeah, this happens on Skype and on Teamspeak. I've tried your solution and it still doesn't solve anything.
