For context, my mircophone is completely busted, but it's not my mircophone or my headset, it seems to be an internal issue. My motherboard has had audio problems before that just come and go, but I'm not sure if that's the cause.
My microphone was working well last night, but this morning after trying to get into a discord call with my friend, I had no microphone output. I tried to troubleshoot it but all it did was enhance some settings and now I've got this terrible static noise that I hear when I listen back on my microphone. The static noise plays regardless of whether my microphone, or even my headset itself is plugged in, so I don't think that's the issue.
Any help would be appreciated, and for reference, my PC has the following items
-Windows 10
-Ryzen 5 1600x 4.0GHZ
-Gigabyte AX370 K7
-AMD Radeon fury Sapphire
I don't think anything else could be relevant, but if more info is needed I will be happy to provide
