My monitor does not show games whiles its playing

My monitor does not allow any game play. The only game that starts is PES O6 but the monitor does not display anything but i can hear the sound of the game in progress

What resolution is your monitor? sounds like you have it set too high which is causing the monitor not to display it.

my computer doesnt show anything while game is on all i can hear is the sound my screen resolution is 1024*768
