Question My monitor has a small scratch look alike dead pixel?

Yesterday, i saw a tiny black scratch on my msi mpg27c screen, but once i tried wiping it, it seems to be under the screen and not on top? It looks completely black when looked from the front but kind of fades away when looked sideways

Hi we have a similar problem, have you determined if this is actually a scratch/crack or dead pixel?
