my monitor has horizontal lines in games

my monitor has horizontal lines in game when using hd 7770 vapor-x then i upgraded too r9 280 sapphire dual-x 3gb and still i have the line i don't think is the graphic cards need help

No it's not, what monitor and connection your using? one of the main problems could be the connection cable. I had the same issue using a vga cable, bought a new monitor and connect it through dvi and everything works fine

You have a powerful gpu there and that's causing the lines. I had before a gtx 760 (2Gb) and worked fine with the vga cable on my old monitor when I upgraded to gtx 970(4Gb) the flickering lines appeared, so I tried on a friend's monitor with hdmi and everything seemed to work great.
