[SOLVED] My monitor have 2 vga ports, can it work with 1 connected

Hello, I recently bought pc and It runs from HDMI port but my monitor have vga ports, so I ordered a hdmi to vga adapter. So my monitor have like 2 vga ports one is blue other is white, so if im gonna connect that blue one with adaptor will my monitor still work or I just need a new monitor, becauce monitor is pretty old from like 2007, but still works great. The reason Im asking is because Im not home now and I cant check. Thanks for answers.

Make and model of your monitor? If it's a DVI port, you should work with the white port. If it's a VGA port, you should connect to the blue port.

Yeah I needed DVI adaptor, but I ordered VGA adaptor, but it's ok, gonna steal from my sister, she has with VGA port monitor, but thank you for answer, really appreciate it, have a nice week
