My monitor is turned gray and broke

So, I have kind of a recent problem. Some months ago my monitor got a black horizontal line on it, but I didn't think much of it, but it had been getting very hot on the right side of the screen. I tried googling it, but found nothing.

Recently the same monitor got a bigger problem, it got warm as it always does, then it just turned gray and it left a shadow of a window I had open on my monitor, but not of the current window, it was the one behind it.

I have had the monitor off for a while and tried starting it again, but it's still gray, and the menu doesn't show up when I press the power button on it like it usually does.

It's a Samsung monitor that is a few years old. I can say which model if that's needed.

You will need buy a new monitor as repairing that one will almost certainly cost as much if not more than a new one. Nobody bothers getting monitors repaired these days unless they are still covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
