Question My monitor only says "no signal" for hdmi, and dvi

But, it shows up if I am connecting my laptop to the monitor or my console. I recently just built myself a PC, I do not have a graphics card yet which I am planning on buying soon. but I did research and thought for sure the monitor would still display. I am hooking my dvi/hdmi from my motherboard to the monitor. Everything seems to be running fine atleast apperance wise; the cpu fan is spinning, tower fans are spinning, the tower is able to power on and so is the power supply itself. All cables are connected in the right ports. Is there possibly something wrong with components?

Motherboard: ASUS Prime B-450m-a
Inland SSD 240 GB
EVGA 500W Bronze Power Supply
DDR4 Viper 16GB Ram
AMD Ryzen 3 2200G Processor (Radeon Vega 8 Graphics)

seems like a bios update needed
but its a b450 so its not like the cpu and mobo aren't compatible out of the box...

do you have any way to get a gpu in there?
doesn't need to be fancy, a 710 will work just fine
