Question My monitor shows a black screen when using windows outside of safe mode

I recently got a Displayport to HDMI converter. When using the converter, I can see my BIOS screen, Windows recovery and Windows in safe mode. I've tried reinstalling my GPU driver.

GPU: Vega 56
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
MoBo: MSI B450M Gaming Plus
GPU driver: Adrenalin 2020 (May 26)

what did you do before you start using the dp to hdmi adapter?

make and model of the psu?
