Question My monitor stopped showing picture through DisplayPort after I turned Freesysnc off ?

I was just playing minecraft on my computer and decided to take freesync option off mid-game. My monitor turned black. It did show black picture and detected my siplayport but couldn't show picture.

I'm using a used gtx 970. Is it possible that the displayport stopped working now? And could there be a fix to this?

what monitor do you have?

its possible the display resolution being pushed to monitor is not right?

I don't see any other cases of turning it off causing that. I see more with black screens with it on, not off.
