My Monitor will not work! it does nothing but this appears for a second....

"Auto Detect (Analog Input) Entering Power Save"
then that's it......

I have a Dell Inspiron 660 & Dell Monitor SP2008WFP Flat Panel
This PC was just upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10 could that be the problem ?
does anyone know how or what to do to fix this ???

try a different monitor?
try reconnecting all video cables firmly?
make sure screen is on correct input?
reset screen to factory settings?

Sounds like the Auto Detect on the monitor isn't working correctly. Just go into your monitor's settings and turn it off... then manually set it to the input you're using from your computer.

Thank You for what would have (I'm sure) been helpful suggestion's! if the Motherboard hadn't been fried by a Inexperienced geek trying to install a "New Graphics Card" Yeah that's what .........

That is not likely a monitor issue, 90% of the time you see those messages is because the computer is not sending a signal to the monitor, not that the monitor is not reading the signal.
