My Motherboard and Case do not have the same usb ports

The motherboard I'm going to get will have 3.0 USB ports while the case i currently have only has 2 front 2.0 usb ports, my question is if this would still be compatible enough to work? Basically meaning will i be able to use both the front and back usb ports?

No, the on-board connectors look different. You can get something like this to put in a front bay.

Exactly what motherboard are you considering?
Most motherboards will have both usb2.0 and usb3.0 onboard internal headers.
That is in addition to rear usb 2.0 and 3.0 ports.
If you need usb3.0 front of case functionality, you can buy a front bay device that will connect to the motherboard internal usb3.0 header.
