So i have just bought a new pc (parts). I set up mye little testbench and everything was working perfect. then i transferd everything into my case and plugged in mye sencond gpu and my x60 watercooler, and routed all the cables and all that. And turned on the powersuply my motherboard had power and all that, but when i turned it on it quickly stoped and i can't get it back on. My power suply is still working, so i think i might have fucked up my motherboard. I know i did something wrong... unfortunaly i pluged the reset, on/off and led (or something like that) wrong. that might be the problem, but the board itself seems to be okay. Please help me! This was btw a high-end rig... (asus maximus vi extreme, 4th gen 4770k, sli 770 amp! and a 1250 psu)

Solution
Do the old bios reset trix. The pins should be around your case headers, by that i mean HD led, reset button and such.

You have to tell how it boots as well, does it indicate error codes in the onboard display?
If it does, then check your manual, it has detail overview of error codes posted

Your are not able to reset the bios these days with the onboard buttons if you have power for less than a sec
