Question My motherboard doesnt detect the second RAM stick

So recently I got new RAM, Installed it but it didn't work so I reset the CMOS by taking out the battery, and then it worked but my motherboard isn't detecting the other stick. Before this, I had some crappy 8gb ram (single stick). Also whenever I power on my pc now it doesn't work the first time so I turn it off and it works the second or third time. My motherboard is H110M-R and I know it doesn't support more than 2133 but I'm getting a new one soon (TM). I'm also on Windows 10. Thank you for helping since I am quite new.

update to the latest BIOS version

reset the cmos by jumper (unplug power before that, have a look at the manual as well)
