Question my motherboard doesnt pick up my ram but shoes it in task manager

my motherboard doesnt pick up my ram in my bios but in task manager it picks it up and shoes its installed correct. i keep getting random blue screens so not sure if its to do with this.

4 RAM sticks are a single kit from a single box ?
What speeed the RAM ?
Bios up to date ?

no from 2 separate boxes, running 3200 mhz 2 of which are 3600 but set to 3200 because the other two are 3200. im unsure how to check if bios is up to date

When you use a single kit (only the 3200 mhz for example), do you have BSODs ?

i havent tested it recently. usually what happens is whatever game im playing goes unresponsive then bsod follow. its very very intermittent maybe once every couple of days. this is the only thing i can think of it being

So you're mixing RAM. What's the brand and model of each kit? (exact modelnumber, only Vengeance LPX for example is not enough)

they are both the same brand and have worked in unison for about a year and a half

The same brand is not enough. Shell petrol and Shell diesel is also the same brand but you don't put petrol in your diesel car or vise versa..

Totaly different kits. One has Intel timings and one is optimized for Ryzen.

For Cmk it’s 4.32 and for cmw 3.32. It has worked flawlessly for a year in a half so not sure why it’s started to act up now. It’s only the one slot also. Dimma1

Yeah one of the ram sticks is bricked. Gonna see if I can get it replaced by Corsair as it’s within the 2 year warranty! Thanks a lot for your help really appreciate it
