My motherboard GA-G41MT-S2P display blank

Hello,

I see issue.

Booting, cpu fan on but no display.

Even removed both ram but beep too not coming.

Is my mb dead? Please suggest

What is the full system spec? include make and model of the PSU

Yes cpu
Core 2 quad q8400s
Also tried core 2 duo E6700
With fan

No sound without ram and no display

Both ram removed.

Without ram atleast beep should come. But no beep sound and no display coming

- Try using the integrated graphics if you are using a video card.

- Recommend trying a different motherboard. It's the most likely cause if you have spinning fans and another CPU didn't work. No beeps at all with RAM removed also generally means the motherboard is dead. It's probably at least 10 years old.

- Trying another PSU may help if you have one.

I bought this used motherboard online.

Seller saying he checked and it was working. He suggested to change RAM once.

But my confusion here is motherboard in not giving beep sound when started with no ram.

Is there way to find if motherboard beep working status?

Boards no good. The seller is stalling you and trying to avoid responsibility.

If the board doesn't have a built in speaker it may need to have one plugged on to the motherboard header for you to hear beeps. I've you've ever heard it beep then it has one.

I changed DDR3 2 GB ram..

Display is working and motherboard too fine. I think MB beep sound does not work.

Now fine..thank you all.
