My motherboard error "55" which is "Memory not installed" when I turn my PC off from being working and then back on. When I then turn it off from not working and back on it does not have the issue and posts. I recently installed more RAM and a new Sound Card. Does anyone know how to fix the RAM issue? I have reseated the new ram once already. My CPU is not currently overclocked, nor has it ever been.

I have not cleared the CMOS, I can do that if it stops working again, For now though, I changed the RAM to a 1 & 2 old 3 & 4 new and now it has posted 3 times with no issue. I should also mention that installing the RAM 1 & 3 old 2 & 4 new never posts, unlike the opposite which posts every other power cycle. One final question I have is since the motherboard is a dual channel motherboard will that majorly impact performance?
