My motherboard (a MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX Micro ATX AM4) has 3.2 USB ports, but my case has a 3.1 USB port. Will anything happen?

Solution
nothing to worry about,
USB 3.1 and 3.2 are flavors of the same thing.

USB 3.1 => USB 3.0 speeds up to 5Gbps
USB 3.2 => speeds up to 10Gbps

so the backplane ports will be faster, the front panel will at least deliver 5Gbps - few devices will make full use of that bandwidth
