well.... i dont know what happened but my mobo is acting very strange.
my systems specs are:-
intel i7 4790k @4.4 ghz
msi z97 gaming 7 mobo
2 samsung evo 120gb ssd
seagate 1tb hdd
corsair 16 gb DDR3 ram
asus GTX660 2gb gpu
corsair h100i liquid cooler
corsair RM 750w psu

problem 1:-
every time i start my system.......system won't boot ...no post or anything at all.
but when i removed CMOS and reset the BIOS..... system starts up again......each and every time when i want to start my system, i have to remove CMOS n clear BIOS......which is frustrating.

problem 2:-
PCIe x16 slot some times work some times not......and motherboard is giving me post code 95 which is 'PCI bus initialization' n while initialization system shutdowns on its own......no bios screen or anything.
but when i inserted same GPU in 2nd PCIe x8 slot ......system booted up normally.
so i got to conclusion that GPU is working and 1st slot is busted.
but when started PC next day i got same problem as 1st slot.......same post code and system wont boot.
so now i switched my BIOS from bios A to bios B.......and updated it to very latest version.....and guess what.......1st PCIe x16 slot and 2nd slot started working again and didnt got post code 95.

so, now im stuck.....i dont know what to do anymore.......i think either motherboard or PSU is bad.
but if mobo is falty how does my system starts after bios reset?
but psu is also new.....

plz someone help im so confussed that i dont even no how to put this problem into word....plz i seek help ASAP

Solution
Try re-seating the CPU. Might just have a pin making poor contact with the CPU.

Have you tried checking the voltage of the CMOS battery or replacing it? Could just be messing with the BIOS memory. Also might try re-flashing the BIOS to get rid of any possibility of corruption.
