My motherboard is H61 chip set. I have a i7 3770. If I buy a new mobo does it have to be h61?

On cpu-z it says that my chip set is h61. If I were to buy a new mobo does it mean it has to be h61 or just socket 1155? My cpu is Intel i7 3770 3.4 GHz

Short answer--no.

Any LGA 1155 board will run that processor.

as posted above any lga 1155 board will be fine.

Z77 is the most advanced chipset you can use but other lga 1155 chipsets also work.
