I just bought the MSI H170A Motherboard and everything is fine until in BIOS it won't detect my SSD I have tried to plugging it in other SATA ports etc. I have updated my BIOS to the latest. It detects my 750GB WD Hard Drive

Solution
Kindly check whether there are drivers you need to install after you connect your SSD, if this 4 factors you sure that you check now but nothing happen. Try to use another SSD to your computer mobo, might be your mobo have problem.
Did you clean the SATA port and check the SATA power supply connector? If your SSD will detect to another MOBO its understood its a good SSD, the problem is your computer, check that SATA power cables and SATA cable that connects to your MOBO and in PSU. Check the voltage output of your PSU that connects to the SSD

Yeah I have done all that... I switched SATA connectors, everything. I even switched all the stuff that is connecting to my hard drive and tried to use it on the SSD it still won't show up.

Windows is on the SSD xD

I think it might be just the SSD... My last build the SSD had some issues but was fine. I did "update" the BIOS couple of minutes ago to see if it worked but it didn't
