[SOLVED] My motherboard is not receiving power, how to fix?

My motherboard is the ASUS Z490 Prime A, I have it connected using a 24 pin connector that connects to my power supply and a CPU 8 pin connector. I know that my motherboard is not receiving power because according to the manual when you turn on the power supply even without powering on the PC it should display lights. What could be the reason it isn’t receiving power, and I have checked the CPU and the 24 pin connections to it.

since it is modular first check if all cable are well plug in in psu and board could be a loose one .

I have done the power supply test with the paper clip and nothing happens, I’m not sure how reliable this test is but just saying I tried plugging and unplugging the cables from the PSU 3 times. No difference.

your board use a 8 and 4 pins cpu power cable did you connect both .
