I am building my first pc but had help from someone who has built a pc before. I am using an ASUS b450 prime motherboard and a ryzen 5. When I plug in the pc and turn the power supply on, the lights on the motherboard light up but none of the fans turn on and nothing comes up on the screen. I have no clue what to do. I tried making sure that the case power, reset, and those super small pins are plugged in right. I consulted ASUS and have it right now but still no fans spinning or any action except the lights on the motherboard. I know the power supply works because of the motherboard lights and that is the main answer in the internet to test the power supply. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I have both the 8 pin and the 24 pin both plugged in. I tried the 8 pin in both cpu 1 and cpu 2 on the psu. I also tried 2 different 8 pin wires and fliped them both around different ways because I didn't know if it matter which side the split 8 pin connector should be on.
