[SOLVED] my motherboard only has 2 ram slots and it runs ddr3 can i replace them with this

i ordered 2x 8gb ddr3, and my motherboard only has 2 ram slots, i currently have 2x 4gb ram sticks ddr3, wil this new ram work on this motherboard?

The only thing I can find online (info seems to be scarce because it looks like a board specifically made for lenovo prebuilt computers) it can only support up to 8GB of ddr3 1333mhz RAM

If you try running 16gb with that motherboard it probably won't work

wow seriously?.. i will still give it a try, do you know any cheap motherboards that can hold these specs?

gtx 1650 (no pcie pin)
i7 2600 (LGA 1155 socket motherboard)
ram slots for the ones ive bought

Honestly I'm not that great at hardware recommendations. I recommend making a new thread over in the Motherboard forum and tell them your computer parts and your budget

If you're running a prebuilt computer it might also be worth mentioning that as some prebuilts have weird proprietary connectors that might need to be taken into consideration
