Hi there. I have an AS ROCK mobo, with ryzen 3 3200g . One day, there was storm and rain. A thunder and lightening happened. It fried the psu, and thrn i repaired it. Now even with ok psu, the system refuses to even turn on. I got it to a repair shop, the guy tried to put a two headed pin sort of thing, in the place where the main cable from the psu to mobo is put. It started, the fan of the processor started. When he removed the pin/tweezers, it stopped working. But pc doesn't start from the button. He checked the voltage in the meter, the psu show 3.3 and the mobo shows 5 or something. I need help plz. I dont wanna loose this system. If u guys help me, maybe i will be able to tell the guy how to fix it.

PSU's are not repairable and not meant to be. Even if something seems to work it could be doing further damage one way or another.

More will go wrong and the problems will get worse. The entire computer could get fried..... You will lose your system.

Replace the PSU with a well reviewed and well rated known brand product with the necessary wattage to support your build.

Start here:

Plus, telling someone how to fix something does not mean that they actually can or can do it right.

The problem I see in this situation is that if the computer still isn't starting up even after replacing the PSU, then it's likely the power surge fried something else in the PC. So if you want to only want to replace just the parts that got damaged, you're going to have to test each part separately.

This is going to be asking a lot of a repair service, and you may end up spending almost as much as a new system depending on how much they charge for time. And even if you find say one or two parts that need replacing and replace those, that doesn't mean the other parts escaped damage.

Basically I see this computer as if you continue to try and keep it, you'll be playing whack-a-mole with hardware gremlins.
