My Motherboard thinks my GPU Is in the wrong slot?

Hello, I have an XFX GPU (Don't remember the name) and an ASROCK Z97 Extreme 6 motherboard, Got everything up and running except for my GPU. It was working just fine in my old system, I popped it into my new pc and it's not working, It's PCIe 2.0 and the slot it was in according to the MB manual says it's a 2.0 lane, But when I turn it on it has a postcode saying it's in the wrong slot.

As far as I know, it shouldn't matter what slot it is in.
It should work in both slots, but the second slot is usually slower.
