This is my motherboard and this is what i see in the bios screens.

Can you help?

What model motherboard (X79m-s)?
You will want to remove all other HDD and SSDs and only have the NVMe drive attached to install Windows 10 onto it.

That is an M.2 SATA drive.
Not NVMe.

Can you post a link to your actual motherboard?
The text you showed above states the M.2 port is NVMe.
If it is NVMe only, this drive will never ever work in that port.

So, my best bet is to mount this card into a sata adaptor and use it that way as a boot device?

Would that be better than using a hard drive?
