This is a long story.
The other day i received an old desktop from a friend. And since my laptop's fan had failed, and since i hade the money, I thought that this would be the perfect time to build a gaming p.c. I scraped everything but the case, put in an msi 970a-g43 motherboard, a radeon r7 240 graphics card, a coolmate 500 watt power supply, an amd fx 6300 cpu, and an hp pavillion dv6 hard drive with windows 10 64 bit version as the operating system. I salvaged that part from my laptop. I also brought a tp-link wn 725n nano usb adapter for internet access.
Now to the problem. My new desktop crashed when I tried to install the tp link. I've tried using windows 10 drivers, i've tried using 3 other types of drivers, and i've tried installing the drivers on diifferent computers. I even put my old laptop togeter and got a tp link ac450 archer to work.
But no matter what i do, my desktop crashes whenever i put an adapter inside.
I've run out of ideas. please help me.
