My mouse and keyboard don't work

Hi, my mouse and keyboard were working fine until yesterday when I booted up my PC they didn't work. I have unplugged all other usb devices but my mouse and keyboard and now I can get into the bios. Legacy USB is enabled but when I get into typing my password on windows startup, my mouse and keyboard won't work. I've tried all usb ports in my pc but still no luck. I tried my mouse and keyboard in another pc and they work fine. Any ideas? Thanks

If you still have your windows installation media, boot from that. If mouse and keyboard don't work there, they are probably broken

no, just see if they both work, DO NOT click install windows

I put the disc in but can't get on to any menu because my mouse and keyboard don't work so can't type in my windows password on startup

in the bios, change the boot device to your cd drive

Still doesn't work on the disc, got any more ideas?

Never mind, it's finally fixed. Put in a usb hub into the front of my pc and that worked. I tried that a few days ago but it didn't work then but now it does. Oh well at least it's fixed ☺ thanks for the help
