I just replaced my mobo and CPU. Had a few graphics issues, figured I should install the latest GPU driver. Installed the Catalyst drivers (using an old HD 6670 till my PSU gets RMA'd, don't have the cable for my current GPU right now), seemed to be working fine, did stuff normally for a few hours. Alt-tabbed out of LoL as it was loading and my mouse got stuck as a dotted vertical line... that wasn't cool, so I ended up finally hitting f5 and it disappeared. I got it back, kind of, by managing to turn pointer trails on, but it was otherwise gone. After changing every setting and mouse scheme possible, I've managed to get my mouse back on the desktop, but it's still gone within games (even with trails turned off). Most games are unplayable. I reinstalled mouse drivers and it made no difference. Restarted computer, no difference. Troubleshooting > devices and hardware, no difference. Called its mother a Commodore 64, no difference.
Catalyst update may have had NOTHING to do with it, but the coincidence is strong.
