My MSI Rx 470 won't connect to internet

Hi this is my first build and big am pretty inexperienced, I have a MSI Rx 470 but whenever I plug my monater into my graphics card though dvi-d I cannot connect to anything that uses WiFi but it says that I have WiFi, this problem goes away when I plug my monitor into the intagraded graphics. Last time this happend I just unplugged the graphic card and plugged it back in but that did not work this time around. Please help me as soon as you can

What kind of monitor are you using? Is it a VGA monitor?
