my new build, any advice?

Solution
as for what board you want you should really just spend some time on each manufacturers website. I would start with ASUS. i like their customer service and they are reliable.

read over a few of those some have cool audio features already built in.

That's the one I ment to link lol. Total for that build is $2814.68 with shipping. There is a best buy down the road with geeksquad and I had planned on getting tech support, 1 year is $200 and they will assemble it as well, for my computer and they will assemble it for me.

What type of protection should I get? Was thinking Norton 365, but what else?

Norton Internet Security 2013 - 1 User / 3 PC [Download]

Instant download 1 user\3pc would cost 3x this in a store.
$19.99

I want the 365 by Norton it gives more protection. Is there any other protection software I could use like Malwarebytes?

Do you play WoW? I haven't played it since before Cataclysm. So any useful addons or anything? I use mostly mage, lock, and priests(shadow).

just the steady improvement of chips. there is allot of reading to do if you want to knoww all the differences. i beleive yo can use faster ram. I think the CPU cache is faster. the socket will get better chips in the future as sandy and ivy are dead as far as new chips coming out for them.
haswell gets more usb 3.0 ports

for many builds the haswell is probably not worth it, but you are already spending on such high end equipment especially the motherboard that the move to the newer chipset is not that much more. In the future you could get somebody to put together a real nice water system and really overclock allot of the components.

you can go higher on the memory
