My new build has been freezing randomly, but mostly after an hour or two of gaming or internet browsing. When it freezes, the computer is unresponsive and I need to reboot or turn power off/on to get it up again. I am trying to find out which part is bad so I ran memtest86. One pass was successful, but after 2 hours, the test stopped running. The memtest screen was up and responded when I hit the esc key, but the time counter was stuck at 1:58:01.
**Things I've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.**
* reinstall windows 10
* update graphics card drivers
* tried different ram slots on mobo
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! My next move is either going to be returning the ram and replacing it with one on the asrock qvl list: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M%20Pro4/index.us.asp#Memory
or replacing the graphics card.
