My new build

Hello friends finally i m building my new gaming pc....
i m going from
i5 760@3.2 to i5 4760k+asus maximus vii hero or i7 4790k + asus z97a or i7 5820k +cheapest x99 motherboard i can get(just for ddr4 mamory)

swiftech h220x

Gtx 650 ti to gtx 970

8 gb ram

240gb samsung 840 evo

seasonic m12 evo 850w(for sli after some time)
LG 24MP76HM monitor

coolermaster 690ii advance without usb3.0 i already have it..

what do u guys think about this built..and can my case handle all these things..
i will use this pc just for gaming and watching movies.

Sounds like a good build. X99 and 5820k is overkill for gaming though.

I would go with an i5 4690k and the asus maximus vii hero. i7 and an x99 build is overboard just for gaming.

Yes, don't overspend on the x99 platform for gaming.

For gaming on a GTX 970 either an i5 or i7 will do, you won't notice much difference between the 2 cpu's in most games.

That monitor is 'only' an 1080p monitor. Which is a low resolution for this build, especially if you are planning to SLI.

i5 and the 970 is a great combo not many benifts to ddr4 and the i7 will only make a difference in really high res gaming.

I wont change my processor and mb for at least 5 years...Do u still think i5 is better in that case...
ans what abt my 690 ii advanced case can it handle all my components easily...

hmm if you want it for 5 years maybe an i7 wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in as games will definitly be taking advatage of all those cores in the future.

You are right but a1440p ips monitors are very costly here in india..even i am spending about $50 more in this lg monitor than usa ..i just want a 1080p or 1200p 24 inch monitor with 5ms response time...

How much do you want to OC because you could just go with the evo 212 which is $30, as for monitor this looks good

as i said i wanna use this processor for at least 5 year so will overclock it as high as possible..
is there any problem with LG 24MP76HM monitor because it about $30 cheaper to asus one...

i want to overclock my core i7 4790k as high as possible...what cpu cooler should i buy...is swiftech h220x will fit in my cooler master 690 ii advanced..

Asus really are the best rated doesn't at all mean that everything else is crap, if you want to spen a little less go for that one you mentioned it's still a good monitor.
