My new build's download speed seems very slow!

So the overall internet speed (And computer speed) is amazing.

But downloading is like 1 MB a second, which is slower than my old build which had 100Mb ethernet.

This one has a Gigabit LAN port.

The speedtest seems normal- http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5176786469

I have an Asus H170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 motherboard.

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (Until Windows Update randomly updates it to Windows 10 😛)

And I'm not the only one who thinks it is slow. I was downloading Office 365, and it told me that my internet connection is slow, so this might take a while. I know it isn't my actual router or modem's fault, as my other 10 year old desktop downloads faster than this brand new one.
- Speaking of which, I think Office got stuck on installing...it is almost done and hasn't moved.

Please help! Thanks :)

My Windows Experience Index is 7.6 out of 7.9. Just putting that out there, cause I have never had one over 5.0!

Sry wrong forum. But for you lets see. You never get full mb/s download speed. Different things download from different servers resulting in slower speeds. If you continue to have slow speeds contact your ISP they will more than happily check your internet download speed status and maybe compensate you for the hassle, i.e. discount off bill, extra mb/s, etc. GL

Also wired connection with Cat6 ethernet cable is the best way to go!

This isn't networking? Is there an Internet category or something?

As I said, it isn't the Internet speed. It is on this PC only, and only the download speed. If it is a Gigabit LAN and it has slower download speed than an 100 Megabit LAN, there is a problem. I'd like to know what that problem is. My ISP won't help me there if my other computers are fine (And I have like 7 other computers).
