[SOLVED] My new Corsair HS50 pro mic is not working !

So just now I bought a new headset (Corsair HS50 pro) which comes with a detachable mic and it has 3.5mm audio jack. I connected it to my laptop the headphone works perfectly but the microphone is not working please help me fasst!!!

Good chance either the mic is not connected well or the cable to the laptop is not connected well. Make sure both are pushed in all the way in. Assuming here the laptop has a combo 4 pole jack for headset use and you are not using any other adapters or converters.
