Question My new corsair PSU cable looks damaged, is it ok to plug everything?

Hello all of you guys. I just recently bought a CV650 80 Bronze PSU, but as I was unwraping everything I found that the PSU cables looks like they when bent or press too much by the thin straw that wraps them up. Is it ok to connect everything?

It maybe nothing, but check with Corsair to see what they say, or whether they'll RMA it and give you a new one

Thanks a lot guys. Wow I've building PCs from 10 years ago and I didn't knew it existed liquid electrical tape. Thank you.

I just hook up everything and it seems it's working fine. I think corsair should be more careful with that cable wrapping, more presure and it could damage the cable.

I started tinkering with clones back in '91. I found out about liquid electrical tape about 2 years ago. Works better than traditional stuff for some applications. Even if the sheathing/insulation was compromised it would need to be really close / touching something conductive to cause an issue.

If RMA / Warranty was not feasible / possible / difficult. Should have prefixed it with (if you are really concerned you can RMA, but I wouldn't be surprised if the replacement has the same pinch marks.)
