PC SPECS
MSI B550 Tomahawk Max Wifi
Ryzen 9 5900x
Gigabyte 2070 Super
850W Gold PSU
4 x 8 Gb Corsair Vengance RAM
Just bought a new motherboard which claims that 5000 series CPUs are ready to be plugged in out of the box. On the initial trial, the EZDEBUG CPU light came on, so I flashed the bios and updated it to version 7C91v20 which is shown as the version to use for the 5900x. When turning the computer on, the bios immediately opens without clicking any keys and the EZDEBUG boot light is on. Every component being used is recognized in the motherboard and the creation date for the bios matches the one shown in the bios of the motherboard. I have tried to switch to csm+legacy mode but the computer will show no display and have no EZDEBUG led lights flash. After switching it to csm the only way to get something to show on the computer is to reset the CMOS and start the computer which brings me back to the bios. I decided to try my old CPU (Ryzen 5 3600x) to see if would make a difference and the computer boots windows like normal, not going to bios without pressing anything and with no ezdebug led lights showing.
How can I boot windows?
TLDR ; New CPU stuck in bios loop, but old cpu will load right to windows with the same settings.
