My new dell 745 wont connect to wifi

So yesterday I bought a Dell optiplex 745 and I can't connect to my WiFi I try looking for it In the WiFi page but there's not a single one I could connect to it just shows a monitor with a red x on it can some one please help me

What wireless adapter are you using?

It a netgear usb one it says the drivers didn't install I will try and install the drivers if that doesn't work I will let you know
