My new fan sometimes rotates and sometimes doesn't.

I recently got an Artic Cooling Freezer 7 CPU Cooler. I put it on my processor and the fan looks like when I boot up my computer, it does not seem to start spinning on start up, it does however seem to start up later. Is anything wrong? My motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3, if that helps any. So anyone know what is going on?

Does the computer still work? Any problems with it? What temperatures are you getting?

fans dont start until the cpu hits 30c on those new gigabyte p965 MB so ur fine

exactly. At lower room temperatures my motherboard doesnt start the fans because the air around is cold enough to cool the cpu. Once its temperature rise, the fans start spinning
