Hey, i need a new PC. I will have mainly basic use, but sometimes I will try out some gaming (the reason for this mid-class video card)
I searched for parts on my own, and this is the result:
CPU: intel core i5 3470 3,2 GHz
Mainboard: Asrock Z77 PRO 3 or Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H (the Gigabyte for my thought to dual boot it as windows-hackintosh)
RAM: Crossair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9R 2x4GB
GPU: Sapphire HD 7850 1GB
HDD: Segate Barracuda 2TB
SSD: SanDisk 64GB or maybe samsung 840 120GB
power supply: Antec VP450P- EC 450W or Cougar A400 400W
cooler: Enermax T40-TB
optical drive: Asus DRW-24B5ST
case: cooler master rc-912p-kkn1 or zalman z9 plus or cooler master silenzio 550

I'm around 770-800€
I have some questions:
1) Would the Gigabyte mainboard be compatible and is it better/worse than the Asrock?
2) Do you know the power supplies? On amazon the one with 50W less costs 10€ less? Is it worse?
3) I like the cooler master silenzio 550 case, but has it enough airflow?

Generally I would like to ask if there are no compatibility issues.
If you want to give me any advice your welcome :) It's my first build ..

With that processor just get a motherboard with a h77 chipset. it will be cheaper. Also the 7850 is a great gpu you will be able to do more then light gaming. I Would also get a a little higher wattage power supply if it was me. Just to be safe. Both cases are fine budget cases.

What is your country of origin and what is your overall budget? If you post that it will help to suggest parts. If you don't know a store for your country the link in my signature will point you in the right direction.

There is no need for a higher power PSU. The Antec VP-450 is already more than enough for that system.

I'm from Italy. I don't wrote it because i found most/all of the parts on the italian amazon for good prices. But I will see the links in your signature, thanks :) My budget is around 800€
