My new gaming computer wont work on my monitor?

I just built my new gaming pc and i started it up and nothing on the screen, all it says is no signal.

I have a hdmi cable and thats it for display cables. pls help.

I have a zotac 1060 6gb
And a z370p d3

Make sure you are plugging your HDMI cable into the video card and not the motherboard.

You're not using adapters, right? Just straight HDMI to HDMI on a monitor?

Have you connected the PCIe power to the GPU? On a 1060 they should all be 1x6pin only...
