I have an old Toshiba Power TV and it only supports input through HDMI. I was using a Sapphire R7 250X with this monitor using HDMI and there were no issue with the output (Just that it was overscaled).

Recently my GPU stopped working (Fans stopped rotating and then it never powered up) then I switched over to Onboard Graphics. Now It started giving unsupported signal errors on the monitor but it worked once I changed the HDMI cable.

Today I bought a new Zotac GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB OC GPU and plugged it to the same TV through HDMI. Unfortunately, nothing appeared. A Black screen with backlit ON and nothing happens. Screen sometimes go blue and says Unsupported signal when I unplug and replug the hdmi cable while my CPU and TV are running.

Once, I was unplugging and replugging the HDMI cable and the screen showed windows boot screen then went black again and never showed any output again.

I detached my new GPU and tried using onBoard Graphics and it worked just like before.

I also tried the new GPU on my old Sony Bravia LCD TV with HDMI but it still showed unsupported signal. (Even on the onboard graphics).

What I have concluded from these symptoms is that my TV is not supporting HDMI signals from my new GPU.

Any suggestions? What to do?
