My new GTX 1050ti wont install.

when i try to connect my dvi straight into my gpu it doesnt give any input.

I have seated my DVI into the motherboard and when I try to install my drivers from the GEFORCE website, it says that my version of windows is incompatible and that GeForce could not find any compatible hardware.

My GPU does not show up in the device manager either. however intel integrated graphics does.

Edit: i also used the driver device uninstaller to remove any old geforce drivers before trying

Solution
Boot into Safe Mode (F8) create a Ssytem Restore point, and remove the old GPU drivers. Use the old GPU if you need to.
Then do a clean install of the new GPU.

Try using a different input on the GPU. You can't install the drivers unless you connect the graphics card directly. Also, do you have Windows 10?
Yes I do have windows 10, ill try connecting with hdmi and/or vga

Edit: turns out it doesnt have a vga output and the hdmi cable didn't get any signal. (and i know the cable works fine as I'm using it trough my motherboard rn.
